ما به دنبال یک فارسیزبان بومی هستیم تا واژهنامه، منوها و صفحههای اصلی ZecHub را بازبینی کند.
WHY zechub.wiki is translated into 20 languages, mostly by AI, and Persian will be the 21st. For each language the AI follows a glossary (how to translate "wallet", "shielded", "block"...), and the site menus use fixed labels. If those are wrong, every page is wrong in the same way. Persian has no glossary yet, so this review creates it: every Persian page will be translated from it.
WHAT YOU DO This bounty has two stages. Stage 2 starts only after stage 1 is validated, and it is voluntary.
Stage 1: glossary and menus Review two files and fill in the ✅ and Notes columns. The instructions are inside the files, in Persian and English.
- Glossary: 62 Zcash terms used in the wiki, plus 8 style questions (formal or informal "you", quotation marks, decimal separator...) https://github.com/ZecHub/zechub/blob/main/translation/glossary/test-fixtures/glossary-review-fa.md
- Menus: every label of the site menus https://github.com/ZecHub/zechub/blob/main/translation/glossary/test-fixtures/menus-review-fa.md
Persian has no glossary yet, so this is more than a check: you create it. Where a row has a proposal, write OK if it is right; otherwise write keep English, or your own translation.
- Every change needs a one-line reason in Notes, in your own words.
- For 3 terms of your choice, add a link or screenshot showing what a Persian-language exchange or wallet app uses. Finished example (Italian): https://github.com/ZecHub/zechub/blob/main/translation/glossary/test-fixtures/glossary-review-it.md Time needed: about 3-4 hours.
Stage 2: top 10 pages (voluntary) After the Persian pages are generated from your glossary, read the 10 Start Here pages (about 3,500 words) on a preview of the site and send a list of corrections: page, the wrong sentence, your correction. Please don't open pull requests for pages: the files are generated and tracked by the pipeline. Time needed: about 4 hours.
WHO CAN APPLY
- The Persian ambassador or a reviewer they select (where there is no ambassador yet, the ZecHub translation team selects): a native Persian speaker (Iranian Persian, fa-IR) who reads English well
- Good familiarity with Zcash and crypto in general
- Members active in ZecHub or Zcash communities for at least 6 months get priority
HOW TO APPLY Click Apply and include in your message: your country or region, a link to something you have written in Persian, one line on how you use Zcash, and your GitHub and Discord handles. You need a shielded Zcash address (UA) in your Profile to be paid.
HOW IT WORKS
- The Persian ambassador either does this review or selects the reviewer (a short trial on the first 10 rows, then a 10-minute voice call). Where there is no ambassador yet, the ZecHub translation team selects the reviewer.
- One reviewer is assigned. Deliver both stage 1 files within 10 days, as a pull request to ZecHub/zechub (or shared in the bounty chat if you don't use GitHub). Stage 2 is due within 7 days of receiving the preview link.
- Validation: automatic quality checks, and a spot-check of part of the review by a second native speaker: the ambassador when they chose the reviewer, otherwise another native speaker. AI-generated or machine-translated answers are rejected and not paid.
REWARD Stage 1: 0.025 ZEC, paid after validation. Stage 2 is voluntary and has no bounty reward; contributors who do it can apply for a ZecHub retroactive grant. Your name is recorded in the glossary's review history.
